Daintree National Park
Daintree National Park has been listed as a World Heritage Site since 1988. Take a walk through this ancient rainforest which is thought to be one of the oldest on earth and make sure you keep your eyes open for Australian wildlife like platypus, kangaroos and rare birds. You can cool off on your way in one of the rivers or rock pools. There are guided tours available for those who want to explore the Daintree's diverse eco system, and even jungle accommodation options such as tree top dwelling that nature lovers won't want to miss out on!
