I am a Civil Marriage and Wedding Celebrant located in Cairns, Far North Queensland. I also officiate at Naming Ceremonies, Commitment Ceremonies, and Renewal of Vow Ceremonies.

I would be honoured to officiate at your forthcoming celebration in Tropical North Queensland. Our stunning surroundings include Cairns, Cairns Northern Beaches, Palm Cove and Port Douglas – the perfect choices of venue for you to celebrate your marriage or special event.

Once you have been to this breathtaking part of the world you realise how special it is. A magical place with so many choices of locations: whether it be an intimate beach wedding or a sunrise wedding: a wonderful way to start the day! There are also the stunning rainforest or botanical choices and a quaint chapel like ‘St Marys by the Sea’ in Port Douglas.

I have been lucky enough to experience all sorts of fabulous weddings either in Hot Air Balloons over our tablelands or on a tropical island in the middle of The Great Barrier Reef by helicopter or boat. I believe both our imaginations and creativity can find the best option for you to celebrate your love and commitment.

I would be delighted to share ideas and advice on how to make your occasion the perfect day: your way. Whilst helping you to develop a beautiful ceremony I will also take care of all the paperwork and legal requirements. My service includes all aspects for your day. I will ensure that the entire service is audible to all present by using a PA system with a headset and the option of microphones if necessary. I can also play your music for you whether it be on an iPod, iPhone or CD. I have a varied collection of music to suggest or I can bring your tunes already on an ipod; taking away one extra pressure for you on the day.

I have detailed knowledge of poems, readings and other literature that would substantially enhance your service. I enjoy creative writing and making things yours: with an element of fun and authenticity. I am available for consultations by phone or email and I aim to help to prevent any stress for you in your planning and preparations.

Remembering that your celebration is all about being surrounded by the people that you love and who love you. It should be a relaxing experience - a time for happiness and enjoyment. Together we can make sure we turn any nerves or anxiety into fun and good times with lots of smiles and laughter - maybe the odd tear of joy!
