Schools

Port Douglas isn't a big place but there's a few state primary and high schools in the region. Kids in Queensland, if they turn the age of 5 before June, begin their Prep year which is their first year at primary school. After seven years its time for high school from year 8 to year 12. There are no Universities in Port Douglas but there are a couple close by and in nearby regional North Queensland.
